Jean-Marc Gardin

Jean-Marc Gardin has held a succession of strategic positions since joining Thales (Thomson-CSF) in 1987. He was head of signal processing for surface radars and was appointed director of the surface radars business in 2000. He also headed the Thales radar establishment in Rouen, the Centre Électronique de Rouen-Ymare (CERY), from 1997 to 2001.
In 2003, Jean-Marc Gardin was appointed Executive Vice President of Thales's avionics business. In 2004 he was appointed Vice President for Operations at the Aerospace Division and Senior Vice President of Thales Avionics SA.
Jean-Marc Gardin, 46, is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications.
