This graduate of the Paris Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Mines and the Ecole des Télécommunications began his career as a computer science engineer with the CIC in New York. After occupying several positions at the French Ministry of Industry, including director of the computerisation and telematics mission (and deputy director in charge of industrial development at DRIRE, the French agency responsible for industry, research and the environment, for the greater Paris region), Fabrice joined the Lagardère group in 1993, where he served as deputy director of research and technology. After founding Internet software publisher Matranet in 1996, he took the company to California the following year, heading it until his arrival at Thales IS in July 2001, where he took charge of the Industry and Services business line. Here he succeeded in expanding the international business.
