Dominique - Communication

With a degree in international trade, I started work in a small firm on the marketing side. My job was designing and managing
international training and consultancy projects for foreign managers mainly from Eastern Europe. This meant being versatile:
lobbying, press relations, leading seminars. Then after a partnership agreement between my company and Thales, I was hired
by the Group to run teams of consultants and trainers in France and abroad. Two years later, I took on a new responsibility for
Marketing and Communication, where my experience in managing projects continued to be useful. Whatever job family you're in,
there are always cross-cutting competencies and know-how: these are the constant factors you need to hold on to so that change
can go with career development. I was then appointed external communication manager at Avionics; I have moved from
the military to the civil and I head a team not of consultants, as in my first job, but of co-workers. One change after another,
and continually adapting to new environments, are challenges I like to face up to.
