Ángel Post Cortázar was appointed CEO of Thales Alenia Space Spain in May 2006.

Ángel Post Cortázar is a spanish citizen and a graduate in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and holds a MBA from the IESE. Ángel Post was director of Alcatel's excellence center for the development of multiservice access nodes Litespan ETSI with worldwide responsibility.

Ángel Post Cortázar joined Alcatel in 1987 working for the systems department within switching activities. Following the management of various projects, he was appointed Alcatel 1000 S12 R&D manager in 1999 and director of the switching R&D activities in 2000.
