Klaus Wustrack
VP Communications

Klaus Wustrack, born in Munich, Bavaria, is a German citizen, and a graduate of the Munich University for Applied Sciences and holds an engineering degree in Physics, Precision and Micro-Engineering.
He started his career at the Technical University of Munich, where he was in charge of the engineering section of a medical science project researching the bio-kinetics of radionuclides in the human body.
He then joined the German technology oriented business Magazine "Market & Technik", where he became the responsible editor for microprocessor and peripheral components markets. Klaus Wustrack joined Intel in Munich in 1985 and became a key member of the European development of the "Intel Inside" marketing program. He left Intel in 1993 as European Brand Manager to join a small IBM team in Brussels that successfully created and developed the EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) organization of IBM Microelectronics. Klaus Wustrack was then asked to join IBM Corporate in Paris where he became responsible for the IBM EMEA Hardware Marketing and Communications activities.
Prior to joining Thales in January 2007, Klaus Wustrack held several communication and marketing management positions during his nine years with Alcatel, such as Director of Marketing Communications for Alcatel Business Systems, VP Marketing of Alcatel's Internet Solutions Division, Director Corporate Press Office and VP Communications for Alcatel's Private Communications Group.
