Dubai Air Show, one of the world's four major aviation industry exhibitions (along with Farnborough, Paris and Singapore), is organised by Fairs and Exhibitions Ltd. in conjunction with Dubai's Department of Civil Aviation and Dubai International Airport, and in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces. Two years ago the Dubai event drew over 700 exhibitors and more than 30,000 trade visitors from the world over and, now in its 10^th year, the show is stronger than ever.

Thales will naturally be on hand to present its expertise in the aviation fields, both civil and military. In the civil aviation sector, Thales will highlight its capabilities in Avionics, In Flight Entertainment Systems and Air Traffic Management Systems. In the Defence area, the Group will emphasize its approach, driven by a spirit of co-operation and partnership, and demonstrated through its capabilities in Tactical Data Links, Air Command Control, Electronic Combat Solutions, Maritime Patrol and Surveillance and Protection of strategic sites.
