Blaise Jaeger, born in 1963, is a french citizen and a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique and from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace. He spent 10 years in the French Administration: He worked from 1986 till 1995 for the Ministry of Defense on strategic missile programs and space observation systems and from 1995 till 1997 for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as special adviser for armament and space co-operation programs.

Blaise Jaeger joined Aerospatiale's satellite division as head of business development for Observation systems in 1997. In 2000 he took the responsibility of Military satellite communication programs for Alcatel Space, till april 2003, when he moved to the marketing and sales division as deputy Vice President.
