The line is a public/private investment involving a Hyundai Rotem consortium and the operator, Doosan Construction & Engineering Co. Ltd. It is 18.5 km long with six stations. Trains will operate in a fully driverless (Unattended Train Operation) mode at 110 kph.

SelTrac IS, proven in use for over twenty years, was deemed to offer best value for passenger service frequency, bi-directional operation, energy savings, and savings of land space as it requires short storage and overrun tracks allowing shorter stations. The CBTC solution will include moving-block technology, free-space radio for data communication between train and wayside equipment, and Thales' NetTrac MT network management solution

Thales will design, develop, and supply the train control system and provide commissioning support to Hyundai Rotem, who also is responsible for rolling stock, power supply, platform screen doors, testing, installation, local equipment procurement and system integration.
