Milipol, first held in 1984, started out as a meeting-point for police equipment manufacturers and their customers, and over the years has broadened to include the security of private and public communities, that of industry and businesses, the protection of populations, and internal state security.

This year, more than 700 exhibitors from over 40 countries, representing all fields of public and industrial security, will be on site to present their wares and solutions to an exclusively professional audience. Thales will be demonstrating how its global integrated offers, dealing with security applications, meets the needs of internal security forces.

At the event, Thales, world leader for global security solutions, will have 2 dedicated exhibition areas. The interior zone will focus on Thales's capabilities in Intelligence and Investigation, Operations Command and Control, Mobile Command, Communication, and Mobility & Operations. Outside the main concourse, in its external zone, Thales will be demonstrating its capabilities in Air Space Surveillance, Optronic Surveillance, NRBC solutions, Automatic Vehicle Identification and arms simulation.
